Racial Bias by Obama Justice Department

Ex-Official Accuses Justice Department of Racial Bias in Black Panther Case

In emotional and personal testimony, an ex-Justice official who quit over the handling of a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party accused his former employer of instructing attorneys in the civil rights division to ignore cases that involve black defendants and white victims.
J. Christian Adams, testifying Tuesday before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, said that "over and over and over again," the department showed "hostility" toward those cases. He described the Black Panther case as one example of that -- he defended the legitimacy of the suit and said his "blood boiled" when he heard a Justice official claim the case wasn't solid.

Priests Do it Too

Connecticut Priest Stole Church Money for Male Escorts
As his congregants continued to tithe, the Rev. Kevin Gray of the Sacret Heart Church in Waterbury, Conn., pulled money from his church's coffers to pay for a secret double life. Gray's annual salary of $27,000 could not cover his lavish lifestyle. The 64-year-old priest has been charged with stealing nearly $1.3 million over the course of seven years to pay for restaurants, vacations, hotels, an apartment in New York City, clothes, and male escorts, according to Capt. Chris Corbett of the Waterbury Police Department. An affidavit obtained by a CNN affiliate shows that, between June 2003 and March 2010, Gray "spent about $205,000 at high-end restaurants, $132,000 in hotel stays and $85,000 at clothing stores." Gray also allegedly allowed a number of male escorts to have credit cards in their name attached to his account. One escort, who told police he met Gray in Central Park, had his Harvard University tuition covered. When he questioned the checks coming from Sacred Heart Church, the escort was told that Gray kept his life savings, earned as a big-shot attorney, in the church account. "Gray became very bitter with the church starting in 2001 when he was transferred to a parish in New Hartford while his mother was dying in New Haven," according to the affidavit. "Mr. Gray stated that when he started in 2003, he began taking the money because he felt the Church owed it to him."

"COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M's No. 3 administrator presented himself as a warrior-scholar: a former Navy SEAL with a doctorate from Tufts University.

"But records obtained by The Bryan-College Station Eagle indicate that Alexander Kemos never was part of the elite fighting force, and Texas A&M officials confirmed Friday that he doesn't have a doctorate or even a master's degree, which was a posted requirement for the $300,000-a-year position as the top adviser to Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin.

"In his bio, his résumé and introductions at university events, Kemos has claimed he was a SEAL.

"No one with the last name Kemos has ever attended Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training, said Cmdr. Greg Geisen , a public affairs officer with the Naval Special Warfare Command.

"If a person has not graduated from BUD/S, they are not and were never a SEAL," he wrote in an e-mail to the newspaper. "Any claims that their names are withheld because all their missions were 'Top Secret' or 'of course they won't confirm my service, it's classified' is all Hollywood pop-fiction.

"Kemos wrote that he was a SEAL Team 2 platoon leader and operations officer. He wrote that he was a graduate of Class 93. The entry was under the dates January 1982 to May 1987.

"Class 93, however, graduated in August 1977, said Tom Hawkins, founder of the Naval Special Warfare Foundation, who has access to a comprehensive SEAL database. He also said he could find no record of Kemos' service at any time.

This liar should be sued for defrauding the university, and indicted for criminal fraud. I know there are criminal laws on the books that address charlatans who claim they won the Medal of Honor. If that won't work in this case, there are several federal and state laws that could be used to prosecute this Kemos character - criminal fraud, embezzlement, and mail fraud come to mind.

Maybe I'm too impressionable but I think the coolest, toughest men in the world are the US special operators, especially the Seals and Delta Force.  The Coast Guard has para-rescuers who jump into ship wrecks and raging seas to save lives. The Marines and USAF have their own special forces that are almost supermen.  I say almost because they are human and can be injured and killed.  Superman didn't have to have courage because he was bulletproof.

Time Warner has been running Blackhawk Down and it still brings tears to my eyes when the Delta operators Gary Gordon and Randy Shugart volunteer to go into a howling mob armed with RPG's and AK-47's to rescue Michael Durant, the pilot. Durant survived and wrote a book about it, In the Company of Heroes.  He is of course a hero himself.

Getting back to the coward and fraud Alexander Kemos, I found the following blurb on Amazon about a book titled "Fake Warriors." I don't know if the book is any good but the editor's description says it all:

"Fake Warriors lays bare a national scandal: the shocking story of countless men of the Vietnam War era who falsify their military service. Their motives vary - from seeking unearned glory at the expense of authentic heroes, to more tangible benefits like defrauding the V.A. and stealing money from impressionable women. This book will enable every patriotic American who appreciates the contributions of those who serve their country honorably to identify and expose fake warriors in their midst - as well as to help bring about their long overdue punishment."

No More Lawyers in the White House!

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers". -
(Henry VI, Part 2,Act IV, Scene II).

I don't really want to kill all the lawyers, or any else for that matter. I needed a catchy title for this blog and it worked if you're reading this.

I do want the United States to quit electing lawyers to the presidency. I've belatedly come to the frightening realization that the current lawyer in the White House, Barack Hussein Obama, is totally incompetent for the job. The people who said that he had never run anything except a law school seminar or some ACORN cake sale were right. Mea culpa. I feel like I've awakened from some dream into a nightmare.

I lived in Louisiana for most of my youth, including six years in South Louisiana where my father was a manager for Schlumberger Offshore. When my dad finished high school in 1949 the only decent jobs in South Arkansas and Louisiana were in the oil industry. Only a fool with no business experience or common sense would shut down the offshore oil industry. Obama is just such a fool. Or maybe worse. I wonder now if the people who accuse him of being un-American and actively plotting to weaken the nation are right. Make BP pay but don't punish the companies that are doing it right and the hundreds of thousands of people who depend on the oil industry.

Other recent lawyers who were president or came close include Bill Can't Keep His Pants On Clinton, his wife Hillary, and ex Senator John Edwards, a sexual degenerate.

This time let's try for someone with some real world experience. I'm hoping for David Petraeus if he'll run. If not, I'll take Bobby Jindal or Rick Perry.

I took down my old blog, Judges Behaving Badly (judgesbehavingbadly.blogger.com). Most judges are honest and try to do the right thing. The old blog served its purpose, which was to clean out a rat's nest in the Hill Country.

Now that the 198th District has been cleaned out and ex-judge Emil Karl Prohl is a convicted felon with no law license and Ron Sutton is on probation, I think we have a very good district here. Both state court district judges are smart, ethical and honest. I don't care for the way Amos Barton has set up his office with ex-Kimble Co. Sheriff Mike Chapman, but Amos and his chief assistant Brad "Mississippi" Mucullogh are doing good work. They sent the thug who murdered Charlie Vela's mother off to the pen for life after Sheriff Hierholzer did Sutton's job and got the killer arrested in Mexico and extradicted.
